Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are split into two parts:

  • Part A – Business Supplier Terms (for wedding suppliers listing on DesiDo)
  • Part B – User / Couple Terms (for couples and general users browsing or using the platform)

Please read the section that applies to you carefully.

Part A – Business Supplier Terms & Conditions

1. About Us

1.1 DesiDo is a wedding planning directory and platform operated by ALARAY Ltd, trading as DesiDo, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11717869).

2. Definitions

  • "Supplier" / "Business User": A business or sole trader listing services on DesiDo.
  • "Listing": A supplier profile or advertisement published on the platform.
  • "Platform": The DesiDo website and any related apps or services.

3. Eligibility & Registration

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to operate a business in the UK.

3.2 You confirm that all information submitted is accurate, current, and lawful.

3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

4. Supplier Listings

4.1 Listings must relate to wedding or event-related services.

4.2 You must keep your listing accurate and up to date.

4.3 DesiDo reserves the right to approve, edit, suspend, or remove listings that breach these Terms or applicable law.

5. Free Listings

5.1 Free listings are published on the Platform for a period of at least 3 months by default.

5.2 Free listings may remain live beyond 3 months if you actively maintain and update them or choose to upgrade to a paid package once payments are introduced.

5.3 DesiDo reserves the right to remove any free listing that is outdated, inactive, or in breach of these Terms.

6. Future Payments

6.1 DesiDo does not currently process payments or charge for listings.

6.2 Where paid services or subscriptions are introduced in the future, additional payment, cancellation, and refund terms will apply and will be made available prior to purchase.

6.3 Business suppliers will be notified of any future changes to pricing and terms before they become effective.

7. Supplier Responsibilities

7.1 You are solely responsible for the services you offer and any contracts entered into with users.

7.2 DesiDo is not a party to supplier–customer agreements.

7.3 You must comply with all applicable consumer, advertising, and data protection laws.

8. Reviews & Ratings

8.1 Suppliers may receive reviews from users who have interacted with them through the DesiDo platform.

8.2 Reviews marked as “Verified” indicate that the reviewer has had a confirmed interaction with the supplier via DesiDo, but do not imply that a booking, payment, or transaction occurred, nor do they constitute endorsement by DesiDo.

8.3 DesiDo reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any review that breaches these Terms, is defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

9. Intellectual Property & Content

9.1 You retain ownership of your content.

9.2 You grant DesiDo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and promote your content.

10. Termination

10.1 DesiDo may suspend or terminate supplier accounts for breach, misuse, or legal compliance reasons.

10.2 Obligations intended to survive termination shall continue.

Part B – User / Couple Terms & Conditions

11. Consumer Transactions

11.1 Users may browse suppliers, contact them, and plan weddings using the DesiDo platform.

11.2 All contracts, bookings, and payments are made directly between users and suppliers. DesiDo is not a party to these transactions.

11.3 DesiDo does not process payments, take deposits, or guarantee supplier services. Users are responsible for checking the supplier’s terms before booking.

11.4 As no payments are processed through DesiDo, consumer cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply to actions on this platform.

12. Platform Use

12.1 DesiDo provides a directory and planning tools for informational purposes only.

12.2 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

13. No Endorsement or Agency

13.1 DesiDo does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any supplier.

13.2 Contracts for services are made directly between users and suppliers.

14. User Accounts

14.1 You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

14.2 We may suspend accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.

15. Bookings & Payments

15.1 DesiDo does not currently process or handle payments between users and suppliers.

15.2 Any future disputes regarding payments must be resolved directly with the supplier.

16. Content & Reviews

16.1 Users may submit reviews for suppliers they have interacted with via DesiDo.

16.2 Verified reviews indicate interaction through the platform but do not imply a booking, payment, or endorsement.

16.3 DesiDo may moderate, edit, or remove reviews that breach these Terms.

17. Availability & Accuracy

17.1 We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of listings or services.

18. Limitation of Liability

18.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

18.2 DesiDo is not liable for losses arising from supplier performance or user contracts.

19. Termination

19.1 Users may close their accounts at any time.

19.2 DesiDo may suspend access where reasonably necessary.

General Terms (Apply to All Users)

20. Acceptable Use

Users must not misuse the platform, submit unlawful content, or interfere with platform operation.

21. Mobile App Terms

21.1 These Terms apply equally to use of the DesiDo mobile application where available.

21.2 App functionality may vary depending on device, operating system, or app store requirements.

21.3 Push notifications are optional and can be managed through your device settings.

21.4 DesiDo is not responsible for app store outages, third-party platform restrictions, or device incompatibility.

21.5 Apple App Store and Google Play Store are not parties to these Terms and bear no responsibility for the Platform.

22. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

23. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the courts of England and Wales.
